Processing

Leveling and slitting, planned from your cut list.

Two workshops, three production lines, and leveling and slitting machines. Send the finished-part widths and the route is built backward from them.

Material route

The path coil follows from order match to release. Hover or focus a step to follow the flow.

  1. 1

    Coil in

Grade, finish, gauge and width are matched to the order before processing.

  2. 2

    Leveling

Coil is uncoiled and flattened to reduce coil set and waviness before cutting.

  3. 3

    Slitting

Wide coil is slit to the strip widths on your cut list.

  4. 4

    Packing

Coils and sheets are film-wrapped, strapped and palletised for handling.

  5. 5

    Release

Marking and documents are checked against the order before release.

Processing services and what to send

Leveling

Coil is uncoiled and flattened to reduce coil set and waviness, so sheet and strip lie flatter downstream.

Cut-list inputs

  • Grade and finish
  • Thickness and width
  • Flatness requirement
  • Sheet length or coil

Slitting

Wide coil is slit into narrower strip to the widths on your cut list.

Cut-list inputs

  • Slit widths and count
  • Width tolerance
  • Coil inner diameter and weight limit
  • Edge requirement
